Day Eighty-Six - Saturday, May 23
I got off my lazy ass and dug a local park that should be empty of coins by now but alas it isn't. It afforded me $1+ in just over an hour plus a few old Altes beer caps, a Canadian Quarter, a token and a wheatie. They are a little beat up but they are in better shape than most Altes caps considering that I've never seen another Altes cap! The rest of this coin pile is from this morning. I went back to one of the old faithful schoolyards and plucked out another $7 from the place. I'd have to go back and check my previous visits there but I'd say that my average take is nearly $8 or $9 a pop. I've already went there three times this year and took home $15-$20. Hence, my theory that $2 a month is being lost there is wholly inaccurate! It's got to be close to $5 a month. Those kids must have holes in their pockets.
I'll be half way to my goal tomorrow if I find at least $1.81 which I should within the first hour or so. Boo ya (or something).
