Day Thirty-Three - Monday March 30
I like to do hit-and-run detecting on the weekends at the local school playgrounds but doing it at a field is just as fun, though a little more tiring. Albeit, I didn't plan to do a quickie, it just happened. In a quick 1.5 hours and basically in the first 45 minutes or so I crossed the $2 threshold and could have been on my way. But I chose to go to other parts of the park in hopes of finding some older coins like I have before at this location. Nada! So, I'll go back there in the next few days and clean up the remaining hot spots and be done with it. It's always nice to find quarters in in the ground in a mostly penny world. Stay tuned for more.
